Events worthy of the moment.
Mayne Assembly partners with associations, corporations, and visionary leaders to design and lead the high-stakes events and initiatives that define a year — and a reputation.
Trusted to deliver experiences worth $2M+ on average — flawlessly, and on time.
When the stakes leave no room for guesswork.
You've reached the point where coordination isn't enough. The project is too visible, the stakeholders too senior, and the margin for error too thin to leave to a checklist. That's precisely where we do our best work.
A flagship event or initiative where everyone is watching.
Many stakeholders, competing priorities, and one shot to get it right.
A timeline that's already tighter than it should be.
Four ways we partner with the people leading complex, high-profile work — each tailored, never templated.

Measured by what we deliver
We're not the busiest studio, and we don't try to be. Our reputation rests on the caliber of the work and the relationships that outlast it — outcomes delivered on time, on budget, and to a standard that speaks for itself.
Simple to begin. Rigorous in the doing.
No lengthy onboarding, no obligation to start. Just a clear, considered path from first conversation to flawless delivery.
Conversation
We start by listening. One honest call to understand the work, the stakes, and whether we're the right partner for it.
Architecture
We design the structure — goals, constraints, stakeholders, and the moments that matter — before a single detail is booked.
Execution
We carry it through with a senior hand on every decision, so the day itself feels effortless. Quiet, exacting, on time.
Led by Shay
Mayne Assembly is led — not just owned — by Shay, who built the studio after a decade in the rooms where high-profile events are won or lost. Her philosophy is unfussy: listen first, plan thoroughly, execute without drama.
When you hire Mayne Assembly, you work with Shay and a curated network of specialists she trusts. The same person in your first call is the one in the room on the day.
You took on more than was required and went above and beyond. This was not just a job — it was a labour of love. Your dedication and commitment showed.
Everything you need to know.
We work across corporate events and summits, brand campaigns and activations, weddings and private celebrations, and ongoing creative direction retainers. What our clients have in common isn't the type of event — it's the standard they hold themselves to. If you need a partner who will think strategically, execute flawlessly, and care about the outcome as much as you do, we're likely a good fit.
For large-scale corporate events and campaigns, we recommend connecting at least 4–6 months out. For weddings and more intimate events, 6–12 months gives us the runway to do our best work. That said, we do occasionally take on projects with tighter timelines — reach out and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.
Yes. While we're based in Vancouver, we've worked with clients across Canada and internationally. Travel is factored into project scoping, so don't let location stop you from getting in touch.
We start with a detailed discovery conversation to understand your goals, stakeholders, and vision. From there, we build a clear project framework — timeline, budget structure, key milestones — and stay in close communication throughout. You'll always know where things stand. Our clients often tell us the thing they value most is never having to wonder what's happening next.
Most of our engagements are full-service, because that's where we do our most effective work — when we own the brief from strategy through execution. For select clients, we offer creative direction or project leadership on a retainer basis. If you have something specific in mind, tell us about it and we'll see what makes sense.
The best way is a conversation. We personally review every enquiry and respond within 48 hours. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you — and where we can, we'll point you toward someone who is. We'd rather build the right relationship than the wrong project.
Tell us what's ahead.
Share a little about the project on your desk. We'll tell you, honestly, whether we're the right partner — and exactly how we'd approach it.
