WedLuxe is Canada's benchmark for luxury wedding editorial — the publication couples reach for when they want to see what's possible done beautifully. Getting featured isn't a matter of submitting strong images; it's a matter of having a concept sharp enough to earn the page.

For My Juliette was built around a specific kind of romance: vintage, cinematic, and unmistakably West Coast. The setting was Bridges Restaurant on Granville Island — waterfront views of False Creek, soft natural light, and an interior that lends itself to intimacy. Beaucoup D'Amour led the creative direction, co-produced the shoot alongside Events by Kate, and assembled the vendor team that brought it to life. WedLuxe put it in Issue 35 as a Valentine's Day editorial.

A waterfront restaurant, cast as a love story.

We developed the full creative concept — the “For My Juliette” theme, a soft pastel palette, and a vintage-romantic visual language built around the natural light of Bridges Restaurant — in co-production alongside Events by Kate, a collaborative partnership that carried from brief through shoot day. From there, we curated and coordinated the vendor team across photography, videography, florals, hair and makeup, accessories, and décor, directing production and styling on location at Bridges Restaurant, Granville Island.

The finished editorial was successfully pitched to and featured in WedLuxe Issue 35 as a Valentine's Day feature.

Classic romance, composed frame by frame.

Bridges Restaurant sits on the western tip of Granville Island with False Creek on three sides and the downtown Vancouver skyline beyond. On the right day, with the right light, it doesn't look like a restaurant. It looks like the backdrop of a story. That's what the For My Juliette editorial needed: a setting that could carry the weight of the concept without competing with it.

The creative direction leaned into classic romance rather than trend — soft pastels, lush blooms from Flowerz Inc., and the kind of considered layering in the décor and accessories that reads as timeless rather than seasonal. Elsa Corsi's bridal accessories and Margaret Lai's hair and makeup brought the same philosophy to the model, and Koncept's event design held it all together spatially.

WedLuxe chose this shoot for their Valentine's Day feature in Issue 35 — an editorial decision made by a team with a strong point of view about what love looks like on the page. For My Juliette landed because the concept was clear, the execution was consistent, and the images Butter Studios captured made the whole thing feel like it was worth the shot.
